Fact #1: Gal Gadot was in huge pressure during shooting
When Gal Gadot was chosen by Patty Jenkins to play Wonder Woman, there was a huge disappointment among the fans as she was too thin for the role. She didn’t have the figure to play the classic demigoddess superhero character. Gadot gained some muscles before production, but fans weren’t impressed because she still looked too thin. As a result, much like the too slim Michael Keaton in Batman (1989), she had to wear a heavily padded dress to make her look more physically tough. It also filled out her chest and hips in order to give her some form. However, when the film released, it became the first super heroin film to earned more than $100 million domestically.
